Hello everyone, I just got off the phone with Asus. After setting up my new rig I found, I could not access my bios.
If i clear my CMOS I could boot once, seems to be working fine all functions work in the bios.
Now, what would you do if you had to fix the board straght out the box a full return or just fix it and shut up?
do you think the chip could be faulty, or just flashing the bios would work?
thanks

Is this Rev 3.0 or Rev 3.1? I bought a 3.0 and just had to RMA it today due to being faulty. My problems were very different from yours though; my cpu voltage automatically set itself to 1.2V every time I turned on the computer, even if I saved the settings before turning it off.

If you have 3.0, try to RMA it and they may possibly send you a 3.1, since it's most likely a bugfix and whatnot. If you are out of your storefront RMA period like I was, just use Asus' form:

The specs of these boards are fantastic, now only if they would work right....

Thanks for the quick response!
I got it off of ncix, it has been under 30 days. RMA would be easy to get, but you think the reseller would give me a 3.1

It's possible, seeing as it's the replacement for the 3.0. It's also the same price, so that ups the chances even more
