2011 won't necessarily
make 1155 redundant, it'll just allow Intel to segment their processors into high and mid-range...just like they did with 1366 and 1156. Both were fast for their generation, however 1366 catered to the extreme user, while 1156 to the mid-range user.
Now, just imagine the possibilities that socket 2011 holds if 1155 beats the socks off 1366.
I think we're in for a real treat, albeit a most expensive one.
