Problem with 3 Monitor Setup

Thread Starter
So I am trying to setup three monitors with my GTX580s in my sig rig. I have 1st card carrying two connections to two monitors and the 2nd card carrying one connection to the 3rd monitor. When I activate this setting, the 1st monitor displays a blank / black screen (there is a signal to the monitor, it's just blank).

Any idea what I should adjust here? confused.gif

Hmmm, not sure if this helps: My current Nvidia driver version is 266.58.

A few suggestions:-

1. For 3-way SLI, you should connect the 3 monitors to the 3 cards, ie 1st monitor to 1st card, 2nd monitor to 2nd card, 3rd monitor to 3rd card. See the red oval in the Nvidia's diagram below.
For 4-way SLI, I suppose your current connection (ie 2 monitors connected to 1st card) might be a problem.
I suggest you copy the 3-way SLI setup (ie one monitor connected to the first three cards).

2. Update your driver to the latest WHQL 275.33. 266.58 is pretty outdated.

3. What are the model numbers for the 3 monitors? Your sig shows two different ones. Are these 2 of the 3 and yet another one? Hopefully #1 and #2 above will solve your problem. Or else, this needs to be investigated.
BTW, does the 4-way SLI work flawlessly with one monitor?

I have tried this with no luck. The first and second monitor works fine, but the third one doesn't seem to be connected.

Just updated it as you suggested.

I just changed my sig. Those three screens are all BenQ monitors: 1 V2410 and 2 GL2440.

Ok I managed to work out how to display those 3 screens now. My next question is: why Nvidia CP does not recognize any SLI configuration that I have? I run GPU-Z and it shows that no SLI is active in either one of those cards. Thoughts?
