Well when installed the H80 I hand tightened it down until the screws physically wouldnt move anymore. How much further can I tighten them?

So the opposite in which you said I dont think it would make a difference..

As far as the heatwave goes.. its warm out. In the low 90s which is nothing we arent used to. But it's not as hot as it was a about 2 weeks ago. We were tickling 100 with heat indexes approaching 115 and 75 degree dew points. Fun stuff.

ehhh... i meant shelf life. i know tim can last up to 10 years when being used but when you leave in in the syringe wont it dry up? It happened to my tim after a year... i even tried putting it in hot water and nothing...

The way you did it is fine too. The screws seem to loosen up a bit as you use the PC. I've had to tighten mine two times. The design on the H80 block is a little different than the H70 though. I would check the screws again in 2 weeks.
