The timings between those 2 kits arent going to offset the speed difference. The set of 1600mhz RAM I have are running at CAS 6, that would make more of a difference. But AMD chips do not like much speed over 1600mhz at the moment while Intel does. Lots of stuff to consider, read that link above. The G Skills would def be better out of those 2 kits. They could probably do 1600mhz at better timings then the Corsairs can.
After visually scanning those articles, it would seem that the G.SKILL is the way to go. Clock speed is what matters primarily, but lower timings will separate modules at the same clock speed. Correct?
Get the G Skill and you can run them @ 7,9,7 24 1T or even at lower timings possibly.
The Dominators will only do the 8,8,8 24 @ 1600Mhz and won't OC worth crap.
Well mines can make 1600@7-8-7-22 1t at 1.725v,2000@9-9-8-26 1t at 1.8v so they clock well,i even try them at 1600@6-8-7-20 1t at 1.85v but they get quite hot so i run them at cl7 oo and i got the 4gb corsair dominator cl8 kit,i like them verry much and i think they are the way to go.Sry for the bad english

If no one minds I would like to ask a question. In a guide I'm about to personally use for Overclocking a 2500K CPU they said to overclock with 1333MHz, but move to 1600MHz once you have a stable overclock if your RAM is capable of it. Why don't you simply overclock with 1600MHz instead of moving to 1600MHz after you overclock.
Go with the G.Skills, I have a 2133 9-11-9-28 kit and during benching for the Memory madness competition these smacked around my 2000 8-8-8-28 SuperTalents that I ran at 1866 7-7-7-24.

Because if you start with 1600 and you oc too much there may be bsod which are because ram instability,after you do a stable cpu oc you can start with the ram.Thats why,because you will want to be shure if you get bsod from where it is.My english is bad,cant explain it better

Don't worry, I understood your explanation completely. If your running at 1600 while overclocking and you get a BSOD you don't know if it was the RAM or the CPU that caused it.
I thought they were too, but they weren't. I bought a 8GB G. SKill 1600 sticks that have better timing and same speed, so IDK whats with the price premium.
I would say way over rated, My G.Skills are same speed and better Latency, those Dominator's wouldn't perform any better except for maybe over clocking. But I've been told G.Skill make good sticks, so I might be able to overclock mine even further.
Alright I'm gonna go with the G.SKILL. My only concern is that my motherboard does not support 2133 RAM right out of the box. Is it that hard to overclock a motherboard so that it can interact with the memory at 2133Mhz? All components of my system are listed below.
