Title says it all I am wondering what the best cooler would be for a socket am3 for 30$ or less

+1 on the Hyper 212, for the price and performance from just one fan, not to mention that it comes with the mounts to add a 2nd fan.

Look around, depending on where you live, you can get the 212+ for around $19 sometimes.

The Corsair A50/70's (A70 <$30 usually after rebate) actually perform slightly better than the Hyper 212+

a few days ago

microcenter has them for $27.99+tax
