Lol? Quality control is only related to how much money they are willing to put towards the manufacturing of said products. All of Apple's products are manufactured into China yet you rarely hear of any quality control complaints.

That's not true at all. The QC of consumer products is wholely different from military and aerospace requirements.

Quality control and supply chain also have to do with experience and reliability. If the supply chain of a multi-billion, high tech projects comes in question, then the project reliability becomes suspect.
