Zotac?

I'm looking at a Zotac gtx 460 2gb, for 120. But I'm worried as most people saying their coolers suck... Like on the 786mb ran 10c more than reference and what not, any expieriences?

The reference coolers on GTX 460's are honestly pretty good compared to most older cards. My 460 idles in the mid 30's and loads in mid 60's while gaming. Obviously aftermarket coolers like what come on the MSI Hawk or Twin Frzr are going to be better and allow a little more room to overclock with, but if you're worried about the card getting warm, then don't.

Zotac is terrible.

They owe me money and it's been 1 year (August 2010) and they ignore me.

Okay there is the zotac 2gb card for 120 right now. I could AA out the butt but I just never seen Zotac as a good brand. Hate their color scheme as well.

I have owned 2 zotac cards... a 9500gt and the one in my sig.... my only gripe with zotac is the are slow as molasses on rebate payments... but I can honestly say, my next gpu upgrade is going to be an asus card of whatever I can safely afford next tax season
post #8 of 8
I owned three Zotac gtx 470s and I own one GTX 580 3gb with TWO more that I shall be purchasing soon. I had to rma one of my 470s and I have to say the experience was great, speedy, and their customer service reps are prompt and courteous. Can't go wrong with them
