I've been looking for a decent 32" set and this looks real nice (especially if it comes with an ISP panel - something LG has been hit or miss on) but from the specs I found the refresh rate is 50hz which is not compatible with US programming.

I bought it in Walmart Tewksbury, MASS , USA.

It is a 60hz tv.

Clearance ? It is a brand new model...lol.

My set was manufactured July 2011.

They have no idea what they are selling. You stole it at the price you got it for. Mine was selling with the other tvs. I just think they don't know what it is yet.

Wow, I can't believe that was on a clearance rack. I have a Panasonic HDTV and a Sony HDTV. This LG Infinia blows them away in detail and sharpness.

The Sony is a nice HDTV as well as the Panny, both have excellent picture quality. But this LG rocks both of them.

Probably the nicest picture I have seen on a HDTV and that says alot cause Sony and Panasonic both are considered nice tvs.

I thought it was funny I seen someone online with the same exact experience I had buying the LG at Walmart. All the employees and no display etc, etc. It was just funny someone else far from me had the same experience.

Let me know if you ever see it on their site. Not sure why it was on clearance as they have never displayed or carried this model, just a strange thing going on with this HDTV.

Thanks for the infomation, guys. I checked out my local Walmart (NJ, USA) and they had a couple. Same deal as you guys experienced....a bunch on a shelf but no display model. The person at the checkout at first thought the price that he scanned ($379) was a mistake because he had it confused with a LG 32" LCD they had on display. I started asking questions about it because the box doesn't give specs and he had no clue....nobody did.

I haven't set it up yet but I'm looking forward to checking it out tonight. It's odd that this is around in Walmarts here in the US because the only websites I can find info. on this set are overseas.

But check out what the asking price for this set is on e-bay -

http://cgi.ebay.com/LG-32LV3400-32-F...-/260810118755

Thanks again for the help.

That had to have just been posted. I looked at all the LGs on walmart.com twice and it wss not there, they only had the LV2500.

I does state it is NEW on their site.

...and they sold it to you on clearance.

BTW: Thanks for posting it is finally on the site and you are right, they say 720P.

Nice! No problem, glad to share. It was cool the OP made this thread.

Yes, only overseas online. So they didn't give you the same deal as the OP, $318 ?

Yeah, I made a mistake in my post....I had the price I paid on my mind versus the advertised price for the LCD they had on display ($329 or whatever it was). I didn't get a discount, although I for a moment I thought the guy checking me out was going to manually punch in the price for the LCD. Paid the full $378.

In regards to the 720p deal....odd that LG lists it on their website as 1080p yet Walmart lists it as 720p. Don't know which to believe (I haven't gotten to setting it up yet). The box doesn't even mention that it's an HDTV, let alone whether it's 1080 or 720. But that is not a problem.....from all the research I've done, with a set this size you won't be able to tell and I can confirm this as Walmart had two sets on display running HD programming, one was 1080 and one was 720 and I couldn't detect a sharper picture in the 1080 either standing close up or about 10 feet away.
