Looking for a headset

So I got my clip-on Zalman mic the other day, and I can't figure out a good mounting spot that picks up my voice well. I'm gonna look into some traditional headsets, but I'm not sure which are good. I was using my Sony headphones but I'm gonna be voice-chatting with a friend while gaming so I'm using my [ame="http://www.amazon.com/Logitech-Headset-Premium-Laser-Tuned-981-000195/dp/B003NREDG4/ref=sr_1_2?s=pc&ie=UTF8&qid=1312121324&sr=1-2"]Logitech headset[/ame] now.

I'm getting a soundcard soon, so I want a nice, huge, snug set of cans with a built-in mic for gaming. Music isn't much of a concern since I usually just play music through my speakers, or use my Sony cans. My Logitech headset does the job...has good built-in controls, mic picks up my voice fine, etc. I'm just looking for something a little bigger/more snug with better audio quality.

Any ideas?

I got some Turtle Beach Earforce X11's recently and love them.
Check them out.

First forget about headsets, otherwise keep the ones you have and end of your story.
Second you already have a Zalman clip on mic so tell us what is you budget and main use ( gaming or music) for the headphones then we can help you.

Most experienced users will tell you most headsets can't beat what a good set of headphones can provide in audio quality. They compensate by having a mic built in.

You're better off using that Zalman mic with a good pair of cans. I personally chose the JVC HA-RX900 for their great range (7-26,000Hz. Some very nice deep lows, feels brilliant)

They're also nice and big, and fit comfortably on the ears and head. A good buy, and pair brilliantly with the clip zalman mic (I actually clip it to the headsets cable)

The Zalman doesn't really work too well though. There's nowhere to clip it that's close enough to my mouth to pick up the sound. Can't clip it to my headphone cable since its a flat, not round cable. I've tried these two positions thus far...

This will primarily be for gaming. Being good for music wouldn't hurt either, but gaming is the main focus. I already have a Logitech headset, so if I upgrade I'd get something in the $100-150 range (unless there's cheaper alternatives).

AD700. Best headphones for competitive FPS gaming anywhere near their price.

I am on my 2nd pair of Logitech wireless and I love them, but I am looking for something similar to the OP. They are just not big and comfy padded like some headsets can go.
