I'd also really strongly recommend a PSU upgrade if you plan on folding on those pretty regularly (which I hope you are ). Check out this thread by Phaedrus and you will see that your are just about fine for power with your current rig for gaming, but for serious folding he recommends an additional 1.3x times your power so you're looking at nearly 1.2kw. I would recommend the

as it's one of if not the best in that wattage and at a decent price.

Gratz on the upgrade it should be massive and if you can't afford a more appropriate PSU right now then I hope you'll atleast fold on the CPU on one GPu until you can.

I'd love to use them for folding, but I need to get GPU folding working on Linux since that is my primary OS. I only switch to Windows to play games occasionally. The F@H v7 client is still a little tricky to configure on Linux, especially since I have to trick it to let me get bigadvs. Perhaps I can use v7 for GPUs and 6.34 for my regular folding. Hmmm...

I'm afraid that I don't know enough about Linux to help you out here (or the ins and outs of folding clients either for that matter), but just wanted to point out that while you should be fine for gaming, you would want a PSU upgrade before folding long term on both GPUs and CPU. I hope you can get your set up squared away so that you can atleast be getting the nice point bonus from running Linux on the CPU folding.
