HD6970+ASUS VE247 Ghosting

Bought an HD6970. I have 2 ASUS VE247 monitors.

Text on both monitors now ghosts, yet it didn't on my HD4870 or HD5870, yet if I turn OverDrive off on the monitors themselves (not a monitor enthusiast, I believe that has something to do with the monitors being able to achieve 2ms), the text ghosting goes away. What the heck? Should I RMA the GPU or the monitors? I haven't noticed any negative effects on having OverDrive off on the monitors, but I have to do it every single time I turn on the monitors through a special menu thing that you get when holding down the Menu button while powering the monitor. Pretty flippin' annoying, need advice please.

Also, what the heck is up with AMD going all out on their Eyefinity ordeal, yet can't optimize the video cards idling clocks with 2 monitors hooked up? 250/100 with 1 monitor idling at 38c, 500/1375 with 2 monitors idling at 51c @ 35% fan speed. How pleasant... :/

I've done some Googling on ASUS monitors and it appears that this seems to be a problem on their LED line..so if I do end up RMAing them I will probably exchange them for something else. I just don't understand how this problem was non-existent on my other GPU's..

Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks.

EDIT: I've returned the monitors. It's a known issue with the VE line and yeah..
