Thread Starter
Hi guys, im trying to stress my 2500kphone @ 4.5ghz 1.28 score, and im gonna be gone for a couple hours so its running prine95 now. My question is, is it bad to let it sit at the bsod screen? If not, how long? Thanks

No it's not bad at all. It's basically just in a halt state with everything frozen. Plus I think it automatically reboots after a couple seconds after BSODing anyway. At least it did with me.

Have fun with that chip, I got mine set up yesterday and I'm loving it.

Wow bud thanks for the fast response. Yeah these things are great. One more question, is 1.28 score good for 4.5 or should I take it down a bit? Thx

You're safe up to 1.45v max for 24/7 use imo.

1.28v is very good for 4.5Ghz, make sure it's stable though.

Yeah I just checked and worker #4 showed fatal error, something about not being the same number, but it didn't bsod. Do I need to bump vcore?

1.28V for 4.5GHz is a fairly low voltage. I've seen some as low as 1.25V but most require 1.3V for 4.5GHz....

Or you can just bump the voltage to 1.29 and try again? As stated earlier you can go up to 1.45 for 24/7 use. I see some do 1.5+ even... however a lot don't recommend it around here.
