If I ordered this watercool kit, anything else i;d need?

Just noticed the XSPC rasa RS360 kit is £140...I was going to buy a corsair H100 kit for new 2500k build, but they cost £100. So for extra £40, surely the XSPC kit would be alot better?

Kit I saw was this Rs360 kit:

http://www.watercoolinguk.co.uk/p/XS...Kit_18393.html

But of course soon as I clicked on that i noticed the RX360 kit:

http://www.watercoolinguk.co.uk/p/XS...Kit_18396.html

Whats the difference between the two that warrants extra £60 cost? If you bought either of these, would that be you set to cool the CPU, you wouldnt need anything else right?

Get the kit, the H100 is heartless! get some different tubing tho the xspc tube is horrid.

The h100 will be running as fast as an air cooler and is maintenance free.

with the kit you have to leak test and set it up, and that takes time, and then change coolent every 3 -6 -12 months. If you have the time for this then its worth the extra £40.

I think the only difference is the radiator.

The difference is radiator thickness.

you will need to get some distilled water from the store.
You will also need a biocide of some kind, i would recommend just getting a kill coil, you throw it in and forget about it.
I would also recommend getting some new tubing so you can replace the old stuff when it goes bad, which it will, or you can just use the new stuff to start with.
I recommend primochill LTR tubing. Use 7/16th in. tubing and you don't need clamps.

The RX radiators are thicker and likely would yield lower temperatures than the RS. But probably not 60 euros better. Either one would include what you need to cool your CPU, minus the coolant - distilled water with a biocide or silver is ideal. Also, I would recommend getting different tubing, such as some colored Primochill. The stuff in the kit will become discolored after a while.

So id need some distilled water, new tubing for aesthetics and functionality...whats a kill coil when its at home?

I would get the rasa kit over the H100.

I would get different tubing, as the stock tubing sucks. Look for some 7/16"ID tubing such as Primochill to fit over the 1/2" barbs. I would also get different fans.

The RX360 has the RX360 rad. The RX rad is much thicker than the RS rad. RX has lower fins per inch. Great for fans ~850-1450RPM or so. The RS rad will require fans with high static pressure to perform good. For just your CPU either of these kits will do fine, but if you are going to plan on adding your GPU in the future I would recommend the RX360.

EDIT : Forgot about liquid...
Get some distilled water with PT_nuke or a silver killcoil.

Those kits include everything needed to run a single loop for just CPU.

Granted it doesn't come with nice fittings and colored tubing but that's irrelevant.

The RX360 kit comes with a radiator that is around 25mm thicker (I've seen varying thicknesses so I'm just sticking with an inch) and is supposed to be one of the best 360mm rads around. Now if it's worth an extra 60 pounds, I'm not sure.

But the RX is definitely superior to the RS and it can even handle a few lower end GPUs as well as the CPU from what I can gather.

EDIT: Ninja'd

kill coil prevent bacteria from building up in your water. If you don't use a kill coil you have to use biocide drops to do it, and you have to do it every time you change the water in the system.
