F12 UEFI screenshots for those wondering about the Face Removal Feature in the Asrock Fatal1ty Z68 Professional Gen3 L1.22 beta UEFI.

Fatal1ty 1 background
- default background with Fat face

Fatal1ty 2 background
- option 2 background without Fat face, voila!

Another view to show the Fatal1ty logo/wordings clearer, a definitely darker & more sinister looking background - imo, infinitely nicer too! smile.gif

I think it will cost 20-50$ less. The only disadvantage are the reduced power phases (which are still plenty for daily).

The quality of a board's phases are as important as how many it has too. What with the Gen3 line being Asrock's enthusiast boards, I'm pretty confident there.

I couldn't justify the Extreme 7 for my uses. I do love my Z68 Extreme 4 Gen3, which just became available for purchase last week.

It costs definitely more than $200 (should be 279 MSRP comparing euro prices)

Yeah, but dont you think that the power delivery is at least a bit better on the z68 fatality? For me it matters only in lowering vcore for daily use, the asus p67 deluxe is the king of the hill in this matter and i believe the 12+2 power phases contirbute to this).

I can justify it if costing <200€, for having THE best looks and being a bit more future-proof, but all else is equal (the ex4 having the better lan, figures).
