Just wondering if there are any free good monitor calibration tools out there. I'm trying to make sure that I am getting the best color from my U2211h

Not that I can think of. Windows 7 has one, but other than that SuperCal comes to mind, but it is $20.

To really calibrate your monitor you need a calibration sensor. Spyder makes good ones and their cheapest one works fine unless you are a professional photographer or graphics designer (in which case your not asking this question:)) If you can find any calibration "puck" to borrow, Argyll is a good free code to operate and calibrate the screen.

My U2211H was a little too green out of the box but otherwise has been pretty good. I am basing this off the calibrated profile off my U2711.

really?^ right now I use the custom RGB config with red 99 G 95 B 97...the whites tend to be a bit slightly bluish but its the best config i can do. any other combination and it looks greenish or bluish. what settings did you use for your U2211h
