$500 Budget Build Required For Sister

Thread Starter
Hey guys, my sister is going off to University in september and our family would like to get her a new desktop to start her studies with. We have a budget of around $500. She does no gaming at all so I'm thinking any of the chipsets with onboard video should suffice. No Windows is required as well. With this budget I was thinking of the i3 2100 with an H67 board with 4GB of RAM. What do you guys think? And what can you guys put together for me?

I suggest you the core i3 2105! because it has the HD3000 ... or maybe just stay with the core i3 2100 and buy a GT430 or something similar. I just dont trust the IGP on Sandybridge CPU .. especially the HD2000, im pretty sure you cant watch HD video with this ****. Oh you can also save some $ if you go with an H61 motherboard instead of H67! It has less feature like 2ram slot, no usb3.0 or sata3 or few sata port but who care, she will probably have only one HDD anyway.
