Corsair 600T: non-200mm front fan(s)?

I've got a Corsair 600T, and have thought about swapping out the stock fans. The biggest problem I've found is that it's simply too hard to find quality 200mm fans, at least for us Canadian customers. Please enlighten me if I'm wrong, though.

Is there anything to stop me from just attaching a fan(s) to the case's aluminum mesh/grill, instead of the preexisting 200mm fan holes? Obviously I don't mean the air filter/front bezel, but I mean the grill directly infront of the installed 200mm fan.

I assume it may require the use of some rubber stoppers/washers/nuts/bolts, etc... but that doesn't sound like a major setback.

That's probably the worst thing about the 600T, there aren't many 200x20 fans. I've heard of people just using zipties to attach it to the case, don't know about noise or vibrations as a result of that though.

Here is a mod if you are going that route. BTW: it may be more work, but once you got the holes made, you will have more options for fans later on also.

That's why I'm thinking like, something rubberized between the case and the grill, and washers/something to hold it firm. It seems like this is a normal problem, and in my mind this is an easy solution, so I feel like I'm missing something; a reason why this is dumb, hence no one else is doing it, hah!

Also, found a 200mm fan in the 250 sectionhttp://www.ncix.com/products/?sku=60722&vpn=FS-200RB&manufacture=NZXT

Though, I am not sure if it is the same type.

Here is my mod I did to add 2 120mm fans to the front. Very easy to do. Now, I am going to remove them and add them to a 200mm radiator and put it back into place.

EDIT: have since replaced my fans with Akasa Apache fans, which are PWM. PWM FTW

Move your HDD cage to the middle and install a 200X30. There's the CM's Yate Loons and Antec Big Boy fans that will work there. They also push a lot more air than the corsair fans.
