Increasing the multiplier

Thread Starter
I'm running an AMD 555 BE on an Asus M2A-VM MB. I've increased the multiplier in the BIOS under "jumperless configuration", starting with 17x and leaving everything else on auto however when I boot in Windows and I launch CPU-Z I see nothing else has changed? Any advice will be appreciated.

Make sure Cool N Quiet is turned off. And any other throttling settings in the bios. And leave cpu-z open and put the cpu under a load and see if the multi changes.
