Monster Beats

1st. I know they may be over-priced for what they are, but I don't want to bring out some real old-looking headphones in public. Now to my question.

Should I get the Beats Studio or Beats Tours. I have the money for either one, just the fact that I don't know which 1 to get.

Beats Tours are earphones and have a limit, but are more accepted in public and the Beats Studio are full headphones, but are headphones so it may show some weirdness in public.

Tell me which one I should get and why! Thank you and which color if you can.

First of all, everyone is going to rage. Second of all I say studio since they have noise cancellation and a larger range of sound. You could do better though...

FYI: There are lots of headphones out there that don't look like "old looking headphones". I made a thread recently asking for headphones suggestions for my MP3 player, and found this thread:

Some good looking ones in there, I think, that outperform the Beats for much less money.

I know people will rage and I know I can get better for cheaper, but I don't think people will find it appealing for someone to go to the mall with some senns that look like its from the 70s. And thank you for the suggestion

There's many stylish portable headphones out there that are much cheaper than the Beats. The Audio Technica ATH-ESW9A, Phiaton MS400, etc. etc. If you're honestly convinced that every other headphone looks old, and you're dead-set on getting the Studios, then just get them.

This is pretty much all that can be said I think. Sounds like you already have your mind made up.

as someone that was naive and bought beats studio's while i was at camp pendleton and had a lot of ppl following suit after i bit the bullet, i can tell you that i would rather have saved my money and bought anything else for better sound quality regardless of whether or not ppl think i look cool, quality always over quantity man. There are plenty of headphones that look amazing and sound just as good as they look, but if you want iem's too i would recommend mine, beyerdynamic dtx-100's, they are pretty awesome and only cost me $50, and having listened to my buddies beats tours i can tell you they sound much clearer and better for a fraction of the cost.

I have a Bose system at home and headphones for travel. I am getting these just so I can listen to music without have those Apple crap. To people like you, it may seem off to buy something like this, but most people aren't audiophiles and only look at the appearances.

D3TH.GRUNT thank you and Camp Pendleton has a great airsoft field if your into that

personally i wouldn't waste the money on the beats so why not go with shure srh550dj? there not giant, look acceptable and judging by what i read will sound the same as the beats studio for $200 less.
