Thread Starter
Im thinking about getting a rasa kit but my problem is that im updating to bulldozer and getting a new video card in September so should I wait to get a water cooling system and will a kit be powerful enough to run a cpu and gpu

Get it now. The new cpus will still be around the same TDP of todays cpus.

Around the same heat output.

The cpu block should be compatible with bulldozer, you can wait to cool the video card until you get the new one. (or just wait so you don't have to rebuild the loop)

Yes, either an RX/RS360 will be enough for a gpu + cpu loop.

Since AM2/AM2+/AM3/AM3+ all support that same brackets and spacing, any block you get today that will fit any current AMD motherboard should fit bulldozer as well.

a 360 will be enough if you're not Overclocking too heavily, but a single 360 will definitely struggle to keep up if you are doing heavy OCing on both a bulldozer and upper grade VGA (of course it really just depends on which video card you get)

what?

For normal usage, like gaming, 1 rs360 rad is enough for 1 cpu and 1 gpu both overclocked. If you were adding a second gpu id say add another 120mm.

BTW, i run 2x570s and my 2600k on 1 rx360 and a swiftech 120mm rad. I fold on all three and it keeps up just fine. Temps are great.
