Motherboard Upgrade

Its time for a motherboard upgrade. I got my current mobo when I was building my budget rig but I wanna get a better mobo for a little bit of OC'ing and to run another 5770 maybe. Is this a good opttion for overclocking and crossfire?

Current: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...=GA-MA78LMT-S2

Wanted: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16813128514

or maybe if theres something similar for a cheaper price that will do the same?

Very much so. Even the 990x gigabyte board which is cheaper would be a good decision. If you want to spend the extra 10 bucks or so its well worth it, and will be a good upgrade for you haha.

I can bring my Athlon to 4ghz, a Phenom II BE with proper cooling will do well.

great looking board but i wouldn't run a 2nd 5770 at the price you can be in a 6 series allot easier sell the 5770 you have and get a 6870 or 6950

I'm glad you're looking at upgrading right away - the 3+1 phase design on that board is nowhere near 125W ready and known for failures if you attempt using with a 125W!
The 990FXA-UD3 is a great board for expandability, but even the 990XA-UD3 (even with the reduced 8x-8x crossfire) will do you well. Heck, even cheaper 970 chipset boards with only 16x-4x Crossfire will run CFX 5770s well, for a 4x PCI-E link will not bottleneck a 5770.
