Here's a pic of my black series on a maximus extreme-z with ripjaws.

It looks like your ripjaws are not under the fan, is that why they are not touching?

Thx for the comparison picture, it seems to close to tell though.

Welcome, and in terms of measurements, its maybe like a 1/4" taller, not much at all, and from what i've seen from the other guys pic, the fan would be to down close to the ram if it did cover and slots, But if your layout is going to be like his board, it shouldn't cover any ram slots.

Edit: looked at the board, you should be fine, but don't take my word for it, wait for more opinions

Megahalems is much better. Also the ripjaws X will fit fine. They are pretty low compared to other ram kits.

I dislike the fact that the Zalman cooler cannot change its fan easily.
Additionally, the Megahalems Rev B is a better performer and so I have voted for it.

Regarding the memory choice
I have taken spec dimensions and formulate the 2 pics below.
Pic 1
It shows the Megahalems (red rectangle) sitting on Asus P8Z68 Deluxe with 2 fans (orange boxes) attached. Notice that the leftmost (black) ram slot is under the fan.

Pic 2
Notice the bottom of the orange 120mm fan sits a little down below the lowest fins. This means, the clearance is less than 40mm. My guess is 37-38mm.

Conclusion
If you use ram dimm with 'regular' heatsink (ie with no 'hat'), I think you can use all four ram slots.
If you use ram dimm with taller heatsink, then you cannot use the 1st black slot and there may be physical touching between the 2nd slot ram and the fan.
So, I suggest using the Adata XPG series.

OP: In response to your PM

The Megahalems Rev B with push-pull fans should clear the blue heatsinks of Asus P8P67 Deluxe.

Pic 1: shows that the blue heatsinks are shorter than the motherboard's rear I/O panel which is ~30mm tall.

Pic 2: shows that the bottom fin of the Megahalems Rev B has about 40mm clearance. Even if a fan eats about 2-3mm into this clearance, there are still 35mm+ left.

So, Megahalems Rev B is good with Asus P8P67 Deluxe.
