What people are complaining about isn't the addition of new features dude with a caveat. It's the removal of features that many of us liked. The lack of mods is a strike, and the inclusion of a single player mode in any variety shackled to a online requirement is ridiculous to a lot of people.
The one feature being added that has spawned a lot of flames is the addition of pay2win. If this was a full MMO (see WoW) people would be livid. Thankfully regardless of new online features, this isn't a MMO.
Cool that you don't share that opinion.
I don't share that opinion because from day 1 it was stated that Blizzard was overhauling Battle.net for the purpose of Diablo 3 and SC 2 to be On-Line.
Look back to 2009, google it...You'll find I'm 100% correct.
Since day 1 of developement, this game was aimed at being an MMO, it was stated such at Blizzcon by the dev's...They wanted full on-line integration with some MINOR solo capability...
That's exactly what they've done and bots actually ruined Diablo 2 so, I don't quite see what the issue is.
At first for the above it was clamored over but, now, it's being shunned for the same exact things they stated they were going to do since day 1.
You don't overhaul battle.net and move it off of an entire Oracle base just to do it people, come on...That costs serious $$$$.

...So, you're in charge of defining genre's now?
Who's to say you can't have an MMOPRG that's also solo capable?
I mean obviously, you're god and creator of the "new on-line experience" that they promised so, let's here what's exactly planned, please?
Coming from someone who's in alpha/beta...I'm telling you, you're wrong...This is a "new on-line experience" and it's very much worth playing just the way it is.
However, I very much am looking forward to your reply, oh god of defining "new on-line experiences".
