Looking for a backlit mech. Keyboard

Hey folks,

I'm looking for a backlit mechanical Keyboard with Cherry MX Black Switches.
Should have a proper quality that will last some years and survives extensive eSport gaming.

In addition it should have a german keyboard layout available.

Is there any keyboard that fulfills this criterias? Otherwise I guess I'll have to go with the Steelseries 6GV2...

Oh yeah and Anti Ghosting is a must. So N Key Rollover or whatever it's called must be included

I recommend waiting for the Ducky Shine, it should be coming out within the month.

Awesome looks, but kinda expensive with 120€. I would actually pay that price, as the keyboard is probably for life with those cherry switches, but it doesnt have a N Key Rollover only 6 Key Rollover... And 6 Keys are not enough for me frown.gif

Almost all "USB only" keyboards are 6kro. With few exceptions (sidewinder X4, leopolds, noppoo).

The only other black keyboard that could be optionally connect via PS2 is the ugly and expensive deck legend.

To summarize Xarmor u9bl and u9bls, are backlit usb+ps2, nkro, but a re brown or blue

Qpad mk-80 as above but just blue

Mionix is USB only, so 6kro

Deck legend is PS2 or USB (switching via internal jumper), expensive and ugly

Ducky shine is black USB+PS2 like Xarmor/Qpad, but not yet released

Sidewinder X4 is NKRO over USB but it's a rubberdome (a crap rubberdome I presume)

ye I guess I either wait for the shiny then or I go for the 6gv2 which has no backloght but is cheap and reloable. thx anyway

BTW keep in mind that 6KRO is intended as any 6 keys + modifiers (ALT, SHIFT CTRL...)

So unless you are used to play some 2 player mame games on the same keyboard (or you are an Octopus) should be more than enough for any task.

Just get the Mionix Zibal 60. 6kro should be enough for you.

But if for some odd reason, you demand nkro, then get a Steelseries 6gv2 or 7g.
