Post your gtx580 overclock settings! overclocking my Asus gtx 580 direct cu ii!

Thread Starter
I have recently purchased a gtx 580 dcii for $425aud and now I am contemplating on overclocking it since it is one of the best overclockers in the market. So heres what I have got from msi afterburner:
core clock- 850 memory-1125 core volt-1150 it got a 3dmark11 score of 7072 and the temps went around 72-83 under full load.

the system appears to be stable and running fine during 3dmark11, vantage, heaven and games like crysis2 and dirt3. (By far, dirt3 seems to be the most gpu intense app and always crashes first if overclocking is unstable.)

However, when i tried running it at 950/2300, it crahsed. So I am wondering what is the sweetest spot for my gpu?

So, I would like you to post your gtx580 overclock settings and how stable are they running.

Check this out

Comparison between our cards! I've managed 917mhz, can't get what they're quoting... Must just be a better performing card than mine.

I got my 580 at 1GHz thumbsupsmiley.png

I've always wanted to see 1GHz on a GPU.

Memory is at 1100...but I am still messing with that.

Actually it was seemly stable higher than 1000MHz on the core too, but I just stopped there till I can have time for some good testing (meaning gaming)
