dell monitor fell off the desk

Thread Starter
Now, the power button does not do anything (like no light at all - green/orange/whatsoever.... it stays unlit). The monitor is pretty much gone, right?

Model number 2007WFPb.

I trying removing the power card and plugging that back in several times and changing the power outlet.

Any other things I should attempt?

Edit: I am not 100% sure that that the falling caused this. I had not used this monitor for some days before it fell.... but it seems extremely likely! lol

How far was the drop from where the monitor fell? Components inside could be damaged as a result from the shock it received when it hit the floor.

no, I don't see any damage signs. I did not get to take a clear look. My friend told me it got disassembled when it fell, but he quickly reassembled it before I could take a good look so that I don't get mad or something.

By disassembling, I think he meant it came off of the stand.
