That card goes at 599 on newegg, I recently purchased one and it does indeed overclock higher and better then the evga that I had before. Have fun with that card.

Seems highly improbable to me. He could have returned the card very easily and gotten his money back rather than sell it for a pure loss of like $250. Or even sell it for an easy $350-$400 assuming the return period was up. Even if you are bros, the world runs on money.

In the event that this is real: wow you're extremely lucky. Personally I would have looked at it as a 580 will still only last a very short amount of time before it becomes outdated/more power is needed to maintain playable framerates. I'd rather have overkill than a temporary solution haha
