Wouldn't that slow down my loading time which the opposite of what i want to do, and its currently stable (im not talking about my current voltage Im testing but my previous one) Also wouldn't that greatly reduce my speed because I read from a few other forums that intel cpus respond faster with higher ram frequency
I'm still puzzled as to why you haven't tried for 3.6 with a 1:1 RAM mutiple. The difference of 200MHz on the CPU is going to far outweigh any paltry gain from pushing your DDR2 800 over its spec. Even if you could get 1066 out of it, the real-world performance gains will be nothing you'd ever notice. Trust me, I've built more 775 systems than I can count, and the only reason to have anything past DDR2 800 is if you have to push past 400FSB.
As far as heat goes, i'd look at your airflow and cooler. Back in the day I ran an E6600 at 3.7 24/7 on a 680i board with a $100 chinese water loop with a single crappy 120mm radiator and 1/4" tubing. It never broke over 55C.
