560TI or 570 - Page 2

So a 480 is still as good as a 570? whoa.. Then I might consider it,as long as the price isnt that much higher and my 500W CoolerMaster can still handle it.

Actually the Gigabyte GeForce GTX 560 Ti Super Overclock 1000M looks really good to me according to the benches I've found. E.g. in BFBC2 it does the same FPS of 80 as the stock 570.

I'll go check out those 480s now. Can you recommend any?

I was throwing it out there, but an overclocked GTX 480 will nip the heels of a GTX 580, but in the case of your PSU, I'm going with the 560 Ti, 480's eat a lot of juice, especially running above stock.

A GTX 570 is basically a re-freshened GTX 480. Less power leak, better cooling and higher clocks, to name a few.

Alright. Ye I just saw that a stock 480 eats 320W. Guess that's a tad too much for my PSU Looks like Gigabyte GeForce GTX 560 Ti Super Overclock 1000M all the way then. Actually checked more benches and in most cases it outpowers the 570 stock by 1 or 2 FPS or is at the same level. 580GTX is also just ~10 FPS higher.

And for 220€ I guess it's a fair deal. At least I've got an awesome cooler on it then and warranty

Take into consideration the 570 has twice the tessalation units, which may well proove usefull in the near future. Imagine all the processing power that 560 ti sli would have, only to be bottlenecked by its tessalation units, whereas the 570 wouldnt be

So after some reading I decided go for a 570 Phantom. The Tripple Slot shouldn't be a problem, but I'm worried about the size... Its goddamn long

At the moment I've got a Palit GTX 260 Sonic 216SP. I couldn't find any page that still offers it though, so I got no clue what it's size is. I'm using a Strike-X case and right now theres like 1mm space between the lower end of the GFX card and the top end of my HDD I guess it wouldn't be any good if they would be meeting xD

Anyone got the size of my GFX card so I can compare it to the Phantom? Would be awesome Otherwise I just gotta put down my HDD one slot, but then it's like directly over the second HDD. I left 1 space between them so they wouldn't heat each other up.
