Sign shops should be able to supply you with the acrylic.

C/U channel is generally not available locally; you'll most likely have to find an online supplier.

I personally would use a mechanical fastener (rivets or nuts/bolts) over double-sided tape for securing the window.

For longer cuts, I'd suggest using a jigsaw over a Dremel. I have a Dremel and only use it for detail work or things in tight spaces; other than that, I use my regular power tool collection.

My trick to get Acrylic cheap.
Go to a Plastic shop that makes things with acrillic
and look for a scrap bin.

This place Here in SD has a bin that sells it for 2$ a pound.

I have been stocking up. I got like 10 sheets and they are different thicknesses and colors.
Including a lot of clear Black

I am getting a Dremel soon, and I would also like a Jigsaw, but I can only get the Dremel now (well I'm just 15 and my parents still have a lot of power over what I'm allowed and not allowed to buy ) anyway is it OK to make straight long cuts with a dremel as well, or should I try and convince them to also let me get a jigsaw?
Thanks in advance
