I have an MSi 990FXA-GD80 with an 1100T on it, cooled by an Antec Kuhler 620. I know I can OC this cpu, but I have no idea what settings to change in the bios to do it.
I also have Corsair Vengeance RAM, 16GB of DDR3 1600. I would love to find out the best possible stable overclock for my cpu, can anyone help me get the settings I need to change? The bios is new to me on the computer, I was running off Asus bios before

Bump

I had this Mobo for four months or so. I love it and it is way better than my n730a motherboard I had on my first build. Want this thread to be alive somehow. How is everyone holding up on this motherboard so far? My Max Value temp on my board is 44 C. (Doesn't show on the JPEG because just restarted computer and came upon this thread.) Voltage is at 1.417. We are only but a few that have this nice board! thumb.gif

Only Con I can think of this board is when you get a bios update it doesn't recognized the boot drive unless returning to the bios screen and configure the drives again.

EDIT: Because of my heatsink size. I have a single channel setup on my RAM. Two heatspeaders installed on my DIMM 3 &4 slots. I have done my research a bit on RAM performance. But in your guys opinion on this board how much performance am I losing?

Hi, i have the 990FXA-GD80..and i have gotten the FX-4100 overclocked and running stable, but it will not let me OC my RAM... i have 16gb corsair vengeance DDR3 1600. Can some pm me a working preference that they are using? Cause i have tried everything.. even manually OC, but no deal... it just wont go over 1333... mad.gif I might have choosen wrong settings though,as i am pretty new to OC. So if someone could help me out it would be most appreciated. smile.gif

I actually finally solved this, so the moderators can just delete this post if they want to. smile.gif
