I find it rather awesome that they are going to use the designs of normal people instead of paying a company to do it for them. I was also expecting some actual hacking, this was instead just a event of people making designs and whatnot in a few days.

What disappointed me is that it was not a actual hackathon, and they might not use the designs in the first place. Also, if they do use the designs, they will use them in a few months at earliest.
