That PSU will not blow up because it can't handle the hardware you'll be running off it.


And power supplies don't really blow up either. Spark maybe, but it's not a bomb inside your PC lol.

Only if it is faulty, or it is used/installed incorrectly. As far as your hardware goes, really, it is not going to come close to overloading it. Everything is going to be OK.

EDIT: I just noticed that you are running at stock even. That gives you even more headroom. I am running at 4.6 ghz with no issues at all, so you really will be fine. And when you get around to over clocking, you will be able to push it quite a bit with the right cooler, and if you want to xfire your video card, you will be fine there too.

You're fine with that. Antec has some quality PSU's, and 620 is more then enough, as has been said a couple times. Might want to educate your friend a bit.

Everyone who answered should have copy paste first response instead of all saying in their own word that it's psu is enuff
