While healthy skepticism is a good thing, to all those saying that animation is 'impossible' or that you'd need more powerful hardware, remember we don't know how they are doing this. It appears to be something based on Voxels, apparently, from what everyone is saying, but that hasn't been confirmed and even if it is, they could have discovered new ways to deal with things.

I'm not saying it's all going to work out 100%. At the same time, it's a bad idea to say it's impossible for this to work when you don't know enough yet.

Australian... he says so in the video when he talks about scanning cacti (a/k/a cactuses).

This is impressive and a giant leap in grphics design. Not only for gaming but even for advertisement and even movie making!
