AMD Athlon II X3 RANA 450 3.2 ghz stuck overclocked

Hello everyone, obviously i'm a bit new here, but i'm fairly knowledgeable when it comes to computers.

A friend of mine recommended me this site because i assume he was sick of me asking him questions, so i'll ask here. lol

Anyways I bought a new motherboard:
http://www.msi.com/product/mb/870A-G.../?div=Overview

As well as new RAM:
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16820226191

I'm running:
Athlon II X3 RANA 450 3.2ghz CPU
ATI Radeon HD 5830 1GB
Raidmax 630W Psu
MSI 870A-G54 Motherboard
Mushkin 2 x 4GB DDR3 PC3 12800 RAM
Windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit
2 X 7200RPM HDD's
And an older Antec performance series case.

A bit of backlog before i ask my question...

I had this CPU running in an older asrock board just fine for about 7 months, and i decided to upgrade my motherboard and Ram. It never let me overclock it without a BSOD inevitable sometime in my near future so i always left it at stock clocks. This was fine until i got my new motherboard, unlocked the 4th core and am now stuck with clock speeds at 3.66ghz.

The board features an OC dial and button that i could live without, but they're there anyways. I haven't tried this mobo with the 4th core disabled, but i dont really see how that would matter in affecting the clock speed. This overclock is killing the clock speed of my RAM too, which i dont take very kindly to.

Without further ado, if you haven't guess my question yet here it is.

I want to set my clock speeds back to 3.2GHz and leave the 4th core enabled. What can i do?

I can answer any questions, and i appreciate all help.

You could try resetting your CMOS. On your motherboard there is a battery by the bottom blue PCIe slot, remove it for a few seconds then put it back in again. This should reset all settings on your motherboard to the default settings which should reset your cpu to stock speeds.

Will that disable my unlocked core again though? I'll have to re-enable it?

I just disabled it again a few minutes ago and lo-and-behold its back to 3.2ghz....

I want that 4th core, i just dont know why it keeps trying to overclock my CPU. Anything to do with OC'ing is disabled in the bios.
