I have it and I love the board.

Though, I would go with the ASRock P67 EXTREME4. PCI-E 3, USB 3, and Sata 3, can't beat it for ~$160.

Ill order a P8P67 PRO in the next days. You should do it yourself. I took a month to choose my motherboard and it's probably the best for under 200$.

The P8P67 WS revolution is a waste of money...

Quick question about the ASRock P67 Extreme4 gen3. Since it is PCIe 3.0 will a Radeon 6970 PCIe 2.1 will still work in it correctly?

yes they can... current intel cpus cant use PCIe 3.0 anyway. PCIe 3.0 will be used by ivy bridge which will be released next year. Even if it did PCIe slots are all backwards compatible.

To explain it better, pcie slots with 2500ks and 2600ks on a gen3 board will use PCIe 2.1 and not 3.0. When you place an ivy bridge cpu in it the bandwidth in the slots will increase and become pcie 3.0 but pcie 2.1 cards will still work in those slots.

Just one more question for everybody. If I don't plan to overclock soon would the stock cpu cooler work or should I get an aftermarket cooler?

+1 P8P67 PRO

You can get a nicer cooler for about $30, it will be way better than the stock one and is still good even if you don't OC. CM Hyper 212+ is the way to go.
