Thread Starter
Wondering if anyone has this monitor and enjoys it? I am looking for a great gaming monitor that is also good for watching movies. Some good contrast and sharpness with great gamma.

this is the monitor.

Would you guys prefer 27inch or something like 23 inch.

I was leaning toward that monitor as well.... until i started reading about other monitors on these forums.

Now, for gaming, I need to get a 120hz LCD monitor, but I'm not sure which yet

yeah it's a decent 27 inch tn panel, though most may advise you to stick with 24inch for 1080 res

I have been enjoying mine. 27" took a little while to get used to as I upgraded from a 22" monitor. I don't feel that 27" is too big for 1080p... although I wouldn't want to go any larger. Just imagine the people with 32-40" lcd tvs as monitors I bought a Huey pro to correct the colors, used the settings on the prad.de review and it looks very nice now. Very easy on the eyes and text looks superb. But yea I was considering the 27" vs the 120hz Asus monitor. I got to play with both at a local Fry's store. The 120hz was smoother but it didn't make as big as a difference as I thought it would, and I wanted something a little bigger. Yes its a nice TN and if you think 27" might be too big get the 25" version. If you want a smaller screen go for the 120hz model.
