Good and silent fans for a rasa kit rad?

Thread Starter
Getting the rasa kit, and going to make a silent setup cooling my 6970 and my 4.2ghz 1090T. They need to be 120mm. The noctua ones will look to ugly on my current setup, so i cant go with them.

Ordering from frozencpu.com. The gentle typhoons are out of stock. Need 6 120mm fans

ty guys

Try Cooler Master R4's (69 CFM, 19 dB), or Yate Loon D12SL-12's (47 CFM, 28 dB). Apparently the Yate Loons have good static pressure, & well they are cheap, but the airflow isn't that good & it's sort of noisy.

Noiseblockers will do exactly what you want. 73 CFM @ 27 decibels.

Mind you, they are a bit pricy, but worth it. Id buy those as push, and use the stock fans with the Rasa kit as pulls, if you want to save some money.

EDIT: They look nice too

Yeah, they are a bit pricy. But they are sleeved and rubber mounted, so I think they might do the jo.

Im Norwegian, and Norwegian Kroner buys a lot of dollars! Six fans would cost me 4 hours at work, so its ok compared to what I would have to pay if i bougth all my fans and cooling in Norway

Do they work fine with a fan controller aswell? Some fans sucks at low rpm

Those would work fine on a fan controller.
In fact, you could sacrifice a little cooling performance and go completely inaudible if you dialed down the RPM a little bit. These are almost completely silent, and move a TON of air. Six fans for 4 hours of work sounds awesome. I take it you are going with an RX360 kit?

Actually, I was thinking about going for the XSPC Rasa 750 with the RS360, but If buying a RX360 with a better cpublock would cost me less then 250 usd with barbs, fittings, pump and all the other stuff i need for a complete kit, then why not. But i guess a RX360 whould give me a even a cooler system with less sound, so its probably something i would have to concider.

I dont have the time to make a shopping cart at frozencpu atm because Im at work, but Ill check it out after for sure

Thanks!

I use the CoolerMaster Turbine Masters and I absolutely love them. Bloody good airflow and bloody silent as well.
