Just my .92

I love my Antec Kuhler 920, better than air cooling, without the hassle of a custom loop water set-up. I had a BIG drop in temps going from an Asus Silent Sqare EVO to this. 100$. Some argue you can get good temps for less with the Cooler Master 212. 30$. But I don't think it will do near as good as mine. My temps NEVER go over 43c unless running prime95 or Intelburn. Plus it is super quiet, and you can make custom profiles for the cooling through windows, no need for fan controllers or opening the case to push a button like the Corsair ones I believe. I am extremely satisfied with mine.

But yea, I would get a 580 or something and keep it, then if you want to upgrade later you can SLI, it (if your mobo is able to sli, I didn't look), otherwise a single ATI card that you can x-fire later down the road would be my choice. Either way if you can afford it I would go with a single card for further upgradability.

But I am no computer genius so take my opinions with a grain of salt.

Oh, and you should also get a Corsair Hydro H100 Liquid CPU Cooler.

NO, It wouldn't at all.

I have a Corsair H60 on my 1055t with an extra fan (push and pull) and my load temp is 30 Celsius above ambient. But if you want air cooling I would look at maybe the Thermaltake Frio OCK CPU Cooler.

I have a single 5770 and it plays BF2 @1080 on medium/high settings! They're awesome cards. I'll wait for the next gen hardware man. If you do want better gains, grab a decent cooler and OC that cpu till it cries!

Since you have a fairly decent case, I would go with a quality closed loop or a higher end air cooler.

As stated before, the Antec 920 and Corsair H100/80/60 are all great ways to go. However, if you have a good airflow case, a quality air cooler may be more cost effective for similar results.

My recommendation would be to get a good cooler and OC your current cpu. 5770's in xfire should be more than sufficient for most modern games, just need that little extra speed from your 1090.
It's so little!

Stop and save your money.
Your motherboard has a beta BIOS that allows it to support the AMD FX CPUs as a drop in upgrade, which will be shipping for revenue this month and on the market soon.
