Genius vs Razer <<Cheap headset>>

Thread Starter
Greetings ...

I was wondering if anyone could give me some opinion son the following 2 headsets ...

Razer Orca
Genius GHP-04DJ

I game and listen 2 music ... I am by no means an audiophile ... but do enjoy a mix of music ... metal ... rock ... dubstep ... etc ...

They both within my budget and are cheap ...

I can't find Ad's or Sens that are cheap ... that is why I am looking at these 2 ...

All information would be greatly appreciated ...

Hmm, South Africa...tricky to find brand-name products there, huh? Well, the Razer Orcas have surprisingly good sound quality from what I've heard from people who have used them. I haven't heard anything about the Genius headphones, though.

Can you find any of these headphones in South Africa for a decent price?

- JVC HA-RX700
- Superlux HD668B
- Samson SR850

You have no idea ... And when u do find headphones they are seriously pricey !! ...

For example, Sennheiser HD 202 = R300 ... and the Sens go up to Sennheiser HD 800 for a whopping R14 000 ... lol ...

- JVC HA-RX700 = R650
- Superlux HD668B = Not Available
- Samson SR850 = R550

- Razer Orca = R410

And those are dealers I am not sure of ...

Damn...Just go with the Orcas, then. Those prices are ridiculous. The Orcas are also very comfortable, too, so you should be happy with them. I don't know if I like the bright green, but whatever .

I like bright colors ... If others don't then they shouldn't look ... hahaha ...

I was thinking of getting the extra Leatherette ear cushions ... they say it provides better bass and sound cancellation ... Is this true ??

Well, I wouldn't know personally, but leatherette doesn't breathe like cloth does, so it stands to reason that the leatherette would be better at reducing sound leakage and preventing outside sound from leaking in.
