I only had one or two dead pixels in two of the monitors but just told them I had LOADS. They just sent replacements and it was all good. Make sure you really press them on getting a NEW replacement and not a refurbished one. The refurbs are god-awful in my experience.
As always I come up with great ideas.
If you only have 1 dead pixel you can always buy an ultra thin black pencil and do some tiny dots here and there xD

....why did you buy an alienware?

Run this:

over your pixel and see if it fixes it. If not then you gotta RMA your monitor.

at the time was the best 3D monitor
At first I was to buy a Samsung monitor but didnt realy Like the aesthetic glass on the bottom and that it could not be rotated iit was more fixed.

Then had a look at Nec and DELL Ips screen but decided i wanted a 3D screen as that how the marked is heading at the moment.

Had a look at several screen and i found Asus and Alienware be the best.
I decided for Alienware as it is a rocksolid monitor, futuristic design and with touch buttons.

But what realy made me buy it was i got a price off from 500 to 420 euro with free shipping from Dell and it was a great deal

Been very happy with the Near perfect blackness and how bright it is 400nich.

Only issue is that pixel but thats a typical Dell-issue as Dell is known for pixel failures we all know that....

For now the only other Brand that could compete with Alienware that would be NEC Or EIZO (last one is extremely expensive), and of course Asus.

and NEC is not so nice on warranty pixels as DELL Is....

What i hate about Dell is that most their custumber service has low-cost personell imported from several poor countries that dont have a single idea what they talking about

BTW, I was able to Suck this information out of DELL:

Alienware panels is made by SAMSUNG
Shhh dont tell anyone hehe
