No sli-option for 460GTX - Page 4

Seeing as you said this is your first build and the question has not been asked:

Do you have amotherboard that supports SLI? Not all of them do, and you have no specs listed. I know it is a very basic question, but it doesn't hurt to ask.

He does it's in the OP and there are no shortage of "I can't get SLI enabled on a P6X58D-E" but none of those fixes seem to help here.

Respect. Im pretty much the same. Its great to break stereo types or generalizations.. I love schooling the computer shop guys when they talk down to me thinking they know more or give the wrong advice to someone. It rules to have a nerdy side. So keep at it man.

You do have all of the power connectors for the cards installed, right?

I had that same board with the same cards and SLI worked right after I installed the card/bridge and fired it up...266.58 drivers btw.

Make sure both cards are firmly seated in the x16/x8 expansion slots (the blue ones)

First time I've seen a 990x in a P-Deluxe.

I was gonna get a rampage III but...

Both of them are. I've got all the power connectors installed but I suppose I should take another look at them.
