Hey guys, few questions about the EC's
1)Which one is close to the Deathadder shape?
2)which one is smaller?
3)Can someone confirmed that the sensor works flawlessly @500cpi and hz?
4)Weight of 98g? someone can confirmed that its identicall to the xai's weight?
5)How is the buttons force compered to the Deathadder's click force? I know that they both mushies buttons.
6)Glossy is ONLY on the sides?
7)The cable can fit the mouse bungee?
8)Glides - high friction or low?

Thanks alot in advance.

I only used my EC2 for a day before returning it so some of this is IIRC. http://www.overclock.net/mice/857997...xperience.html

1) EC1 is the larger version that should be closest to the deathadder in size.

2) EC2 is smaller.

3) Even though my EC2 had a problem with jitter and a high lift off distance both were gone when the mouse was used at 500 CPI and 500hz. The perfect control speed was high enough for me at the 500CPI and 1000CPI stepping, much higher than my CM storm spawn but still less than my DA. And just like most optical mice that aren't the kinzu, it doesn't have positive acceleration. But it does have prediction.

4) Dunno, never weighed it.

5) Softer than my 3G DA.

6) The white version is glossy all around, the black version is just like the DA, glossy on the sides with rubber on top.

7) No idea.

8) Id say the glide is a hair slower than other mice that I have used with smaller teflon feet but still smooth.

You keep trolling me saying the same thing over and over in different threads.

I'm not a perfectionist I'm just not an ignorant fool that laps up bad products with a smile on my face. I think ill find an acceptable mouse, the features and qualities that I want in a mouse are already available, they just need to be combined.

If you're going to post then at least stay on topic and contribute to the thread.

Also as previously stated it has prediction which can't be turned off, just go with the Deathadder 3.5g black edition, you prolly won't like the original deathadder as much due to it's plastic sides.

Nah, I found myself ok with prediction and its not as bad as people decribe it..just overhype.

I dont want to give the Deathadder 3th chance.
I would like to have alittle smaller and less ergonomic / forced shape, Low LoD with custom lens with flawlessly sensor in general and decided build quality.

how is the tracking of this mouse? i read somewhere that it has strange tracking but can someone clarify?

Derp does go overboard but the guy knows his stuff. Finding a good mouse is like finding a good wife. None of them are perfect, just gotta find one with flaws that you can deal with. =P

Also to Avin, I tried the EC2 and had problems with it. It did perform great at 500dpi though. I use a DA Black now, even if I had adjusted to lower dpi, I just didn't like the mouse buttons on the EC2, they felt to mushy. Also, I got the white edition which was all gloss, terrible idea. lol
