Also to Avin, I tried the EC2 and had problems with it. It did perform great at 500dpi though. I use a DA Black now, even if I had adjusted to lower dpi, I just didn't like the mouse buttons on the EC2, they felt to mushy. Also, I got the white edition which was all gloss, terrible idea. lol
Yeah Derp and Skylit give mouse advice you can trust.

On a side note how does the DA Black Edition perform at 900 dpi compared to 1800 dpi? I wanted to make sure it tracks perfectly at 900 dpi since I don't want a high dpi setting which causes negative acceleration at low speeds.

No.

I'm not asking much from a mouse, its just that the mouse market is absolutely horrible. People shouldn't be modding good sensor's into good shapes to get a mouse that works properly... Its absolutely ridiculous.

Once again stop trolling.

See, this is a dumb philosophy. With women, you can't simply combine the good attributes into one uber-chick. With mice, you can absolutely do that, but the companies seem to collude to make every promising mouse have one glaring, stupid flaw.

If pros can use 10 year old mice then whats your problem? just get use to the shape of a mouse you like. I aint trolling but when i come on here all i see if your reviews about i dont like this mouse i dont like this mouse. Sometimes the issues are too small for you to not use a mouse.

Jitter and lod to me are good enough reasons to not use a mouse. Not 2% acceleration.

We now live in a world were marketing crap wins. Im sure that soon all sensors will be total trash. and people will think 3 million dpi is the way to go.

We do live in a world where marketing crap sells. However its not all bad, there are people that seek out more information than just what the label/box says at Best Buy. That's when forums/sites like OCN come in handy.

You do need people like Derp that over analyze a product and will not buy into it. If everyone just settled and bought some crap and got used to it. Then everything would go to ****. People need to be made aware of things and hey if nothing is out that suits you don't buy into it. That's how you speak the loudest. Make a company have to work for your money instead of just flushing it down the toilet.

The argument about pros, is funny. I mean they can jump from one team to another and do well with anything from different companies. The thing is they are getting paid for this. So they have to sacrifice using a mouse they might truly enjoy in order to make money. If your not a sponsored player then you have options to find the best for you and use it.

Just because a pro player has to make up for the flaws in a sensor, you shouldn't have to, your not getting paid for that. And most people really can't afford to just make up for the flaws of a sensor. I think that when your not at a pro level and your at the practice stage, you need every factor out of your control to be as perfect as possible. Otherwise it just makes it that much harder.
