I'm sitting 6 ft away from it and it's still annoying. I have no doubt that even if it was in the living room behind the TV, I'd still hear it from the sofa 14' away. I don't trust Newegg reviews if I want quiet. A lot of the graphics cards, fans, etc, that they review to be "dead silent", I find to be quite noisy.

Another thing, expect your HDD to overheat inside that case. Thankfully, I'm using an SSD so the awful ventilation for the HDD's is not much of an issue to me.

I'll toy around with the idea of what I want a little more.
If you're not in a hurry to buy/build, perhaps you might want to wait for socket FM1 Mini-ITX and dual-core 65W TDP Llano to come out. If you want something right now, an H61/H67 MB+Pentium G620 would also work and the price is pretty close to what you would pay for Zacate.

Ya, that's why I went with the Antec isk 310-150 since I heard the ISK-100's fan was not of quality. I turned down the 80mm to low and installed a second noctua 80mm and I can't hear them unless I'm 1-2 feet of the case with TV on mute.

I agree with rui-no-onna, I have the E350 for bedroom HTPC and i3 2100 for living room and I much prefer the i3 2100 even though the E350 works. The i3 system is overall quicker and considering how much the ASUS E35M1-I DELUXE is, I don't think it performs well enough. I don't have netflix but I hear that's why people have trouble with.

Hmm.. I'm not in a hurry to upgrade it so I don't mind waiting for better. If I wait much longer I might just build a new main HTPC and move my current one to my bedroom. At least I could game on it then.
