Samsung Galaxy S2 Undervolting/Overclocking Thread

Thread Starter
I am using Cognition 1.31 custom 2.3.4 ROM and SetCPU for undervolting.
So far I have only played with volts at 1200Mhz and 200Mhz as those are the predominant clocks the phone sits at while in use, acording to CPUspy.

Current settings (stress tested for 30 mins @ each clock using SetCPU stress test, locking each clock and testing):

1200Mhz: 1125mv (1275mv stock)
1000Mhz: 1100mv (1175mv stock)
800Mhz: 1075mv (stock)
500Mhz: 975mv (stock)
200Mhz: 825mv (950mv stock)

Result: alot less heat at load, slightly more battery life.
I have not tested lower volts at 1200Mhz, I'll see tonight how that plays out.
Had 1 crash when the 200Mhz config was set to 800mv, 825mv seems to have fixed it.

Nice results. Could you post how much more battery life you get after finding stable settings and also maybe a guide on how you've done it. That could make this thread more interesting thumb.gif

Some benchmarks at 1.6ghz 1375mv. I have yet to crash or freeze at this voltage but I don't overclock for everyday use.

My 24/7 setting is rock solid as follows:

1200Mhz: 1125mv (1275mv stock)
1000Mhz: 1075mv (1175mv stock)
800Mhz: 1050mv (1075mv stock)
500Mhz: 925mv (975mv stock)
200Mhz: 825mv (950mv stock)

I can most likely go lower for the following frequencies: 500, 800, 1000. Both 1200 Mhz and 200 Mhz are at their absolute lowest needed for stability. Been over a week with zero crashes.

[edit] forum bugged out, I was trying to edit this into my previous post... sorry for double post

Quick question, I've been trying to get my cousins Samsung Vibrant 4G running a custom rom, sadly I've had no luck. Would this rom run on it?
