i have some g skillz and they work fine. although i've heard of them conflicting with mother boards not CPUs. where did you hear this?

Its a fine upgrade, but make sure the RAM is a dual channel kit and be aware the mobo is entry level but still has some nice features.
The processor is good, for I have it and its a good upgrade from the intel dual core. Also, You might want to get an aftermarket CPU Cooler for the Phenom, Actually you might as well have to.

If there are problems with the G-skill Ripjaws RAM that you have, All I can say is I used this RAM for my build and it works fine. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16820231179

Just make sure you get a dual channel kit. Though I dont see any reason the G-skill Ripjaw's wont work..

I would recommend a mobo with at least a 4+1 power phase. I would not trust that board to run a 125W phenom (even at stock clocks).
It's so little!

Yeah, not really a very well balanced setup. The 4-phase power (no split phasing) on that motherboard is not very adequate to support 125W Phenom II CPUs (often protective-throttling the CPU causing performance loss, at stock), plus it's on an older AM2 base design which also means slower hypertransport, older tech, and less expandability.

For $230 you can get better parts in America, I suggest looking harder.

k then a Asus M4A78LT-M LE may make it ???? or i have to wait for the ram and buy a Gigabyte GA-880GM-USB3 or Asus M4A78LT-M LE will do :/

The M4A78LT-M LE uses a 3+1 phase, also known to throttle on a 125W processor. It's rated 125W, and though may be able to run it somewhat safely without sparking or frying itself, it's not really capable of doing so on a continuous 100% load.
But the GA-880GM-USB3 isn't a bad choice.

what would u guy prefer for me ????????????? and earlier i must have forgot to mentions i want overclock the system so pls suggest me a motherboard m very confused

For overclocking purposes on a 955, you will want to have at least a well-cooled 4+1 phase power system. The GA-880GM-USB3 works in your case, as long as the VRMs are properly cooled (i.e. aftermarket heatsinks, or use the CPU stock cooler so it blows onto motherboard components). Using a tower heatsink such as a Hyper 212+ may remove airflow necessary to cool motherboard components including the VRMs, which may affect system safety during an overclock.
