There's nothing threatening about this though, they've just found a way to make robots less clumsy and adapt to their environment somewhat.
It is being developed? So it isn't technically out yet. So in theory, they still cannot think. I'll have to look into that.

I sure there are some good usages for this, but there are bad uses for this. All it takes is a simple virus before it turn for the worst.

Like the movie Virus? With Alec Baldwin, Donald Sutherland, Jamie-Lee Curtis onboard a Russian observation boat.

I love the idea of it. But in reality, If still have wars and fight over the stupidest things(you look different, this is my land, oil is ours, etc), spend thousands of dollars on things we already have while other people starve to death. I don't think robots going to be any better. If not worst. They could calculate and solve problems in less time then it takes to tie a shoe. If robots we're deploved in wars. We are screwed.

Haven't those researchers seen skynet. lol

This has been forseen for a long time.

Skilled workers in the sense of Soldiers, Combat operators, Millwright, electritian, engineers etc are the future. Not assembly line workers (unless QA control, etc), and people who can fix these robots are the future. When it comes to industrial robotics in manufacturing and assembly, they take control (both precision and speed).

I know my sister is kicking herself, because Lab techs are being replaced by robotics.
