I noticed this at my sister's house this past weekend... We don't have fios in my city, but they sure do in LB. She has a 15mbps plan but gets 25mbps! That's just amazing... She has the whole package which includes digital cable, dvr, and all the good stuff for only 60 a month

Makes me hate my timewarner... Alleged 20mbps, only getting 14.4 on speedtest... This and digital cable already runs me 120 a month!

Unfortunately, if you ever have an issue with FiOS or billing, you might as well give up. Verizon support and customer service is terrible.

I love COX. It's great waking up every morning knowing COX will keep me satisfied throughout the day.

COX and Verizon are the top players there.
Best consistency and performance overall. Wish I had those were I live.

I wish they had included more people in the test. Would have loved to see a regular user comparison vs a heavy user.(netflix or steam style user.)

I feel that the results are biased and don't reflect the average heavy user. (who are the only ones that really complain about their services)

The creator of this company is the biggest troll ever.

Anyway, I'm a little peeved they didn't compare price as well.

Our 20mb Qwest DSL has NEVER reached the advertised speed and we're stuck with a silly 892k upload. In fact, it's currently only connected at 17002k.

No caps though.

Edit: 20 megabit. Riiigggghhhttt. Can't wait to get back to the 7mb upload in my dorm...

Edit 2: We're paying $80/month for this garbage. DSL only incl. the extra charged because we don't have landline voice.
Final edit: I made them fix it. Finally getting the service we're paying for.

That is going to change soon I think though.
There is a 144 Strand Middle-Mile Fiber line going in down my road that is designed to be able to have local access added to it.
Once the Area I lived in got a serious commercial upgrade I got 40/5 from Qwest for 40 a month with lifetime guarantee. I can get the 40mpbs often too, steam, torrents, etc.

Interesting...

I'm more interested in what kind of caps these speeds have, regardless of reliability and speed.

Hahahaha I love how AT&T got the highest web page load time of 9000ms...

The Cox load time of ~1500ms seems about right. Cox used to get godly pings in the South Orange County, CA area but it appears they stopped upgrading their infrastructure and the entire service has been slowed down by more customers.
